He always had a smile. He was a truly dedicated member of the Swinford team and brought that same dedication as a player. “He was a totally different person on and off the pitch. He was on the successful Swinford minor team of 1997 which won every match they played that year. He would have been a driving force on that team.“He played mainly centre half back. He travelled from Donegal to Swinford all the time to train and never transferred clubs.”DONEGAL SEE OFF MAYO AS THE LATE GARDA McCALLION IS REMEMBERED was last modified: May 6th, 2012 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:DONEGAL SEE OFF MAYO AS THE LATE GARDA McCALLION IS REMEMBEREDlast_img read more
