A new rankings update has made that commitment all the more impressive.According to 247’s Hawkeye Insider, Dunker has been reclassified as a four-star prospect in the Class of 2021.247Sports Midwest Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu stated in an interview that Dunker has recently increased his weight without losing mobility, which bodes well for his transition to college.“He was 240 at last check, but he came in at 265 at Iowa and by all accounts was moving just as well at that weight… The kid has a chance to be really good. (2020 Iowa DL commit) Isaiah Bruce has been running well in the 100 as well. It’s crazy they have two freaks like this at that school.”247Sports currently ranks Dunker as the No. 353 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 39 offensive tackle in the nation, and the No. 8 prospect from the state of Illinois. Dunker announced his commitment to Iowa this early-June.Committed to Iowa!!!!!!— Gennings Dunker (@gennings_dunker) June 3, 2019With Gennings Dunker now classified as a four-star, Iowa’s Class of 2021 now actually has two four-star offensive linemen.
